Individual and small group coaching provide a personalized and safe space to explore aspects of anti-oppression and equity work. This can help: increase one’s knowledgebase relating to important social justice concepts, build leadership and vision for the organization, integrate anti-oppression priorities, counter personal and group resistance that may arise, acclimate new staff or board members to the process, and develop a series of action steps toward organizational and personal development. Sessions can focus on a particular topic or set of dynamics. In addition to a personal and organizational analysis, this work may include the exploration of internalized dominance, internalized oppression, and alliance building work.
